Hi Tumblr!

Hello, new Tumblr folks on Dreamwidth! It's so nice to have you here. (Even if the cause of the influx is Tumblr imploding, which I'm sorry about...I remember the implosion of Livejournal, so I sympathize!)

I've seen a couple of new and unknown people adding me, which is lovely and exciting! Hello! I don't generally add people in return if I don't know them, but if you want to comment sometime (doesn't have to be on this post, it can be anywhere along the way) I'd be more than happy to get to know you. :-)

Now I feel like I should say something about myself, so this post doesn't feel like a mere placeholder. Umm...

I'm currently participating in:

holmestice – that amazing home of fascinating people who know more different Sherlock Holmes adaptations than you can count! Currently posting so many great things I haven't even had time to start reading.

yuletide – my first time doing this exchange, and my gosh, this place is incredible. It's such a massive beast, and yet the mods are so on top of things and helpful and kind. Yuletide has already led me to write in several small fandoms I would never have thought to write in otherwise.

rt_morelove – I don't know yet whether this comm will be back again this year, but the (tiny) Remus/Tonks fandom that still existed on Livejournal by the time I joined (late to the fandom party, I was) was my first home in fandom, and will always be dear to my heart.

I'm currently working on:

– Some Yuletide things that are secret. :-)
– a Harry Potter genfic that follows a few minor characters in the years after the war, because I guess I like to be obscure like that
– a Tonks-centric f/f fic (talk about things that are obscure...)
– a Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries fic, for the first time! Anybody else out there, at all, a Miss Fisher fan?
