Yeah, I mean, I don't expect AO3 to disappear on us any time soon, but that still doesn't mean it'll be forever, and temporary outages are pretty possible. I feel better with redundancy - I've seen too many links go dead.
(Which reminds me, I should probably update my fic index some time - I got lazy about it with the convenience of AO3, but having a list of all crossposts is still useful, in the end. Even if maybe only to me. *g*)
