Oh, what a wonderful resolution to this story. I love the idea that Sirius actually cursed himself, through his guilt and remorse and grief. And that (like in the original Beauty and the Beast) it's love that sets the Beast free from the curse, but this time, it's the Beast's/Sirius's love for Harry that does it (possibly partly through shaking him out of his grief and self-loathing and spurring him to action). Very clever, and very satisfying!
I love the final image of the garden throwing off its autumn and pushing through winter to find spring at last. And it's lovely to see happiness coming to these two long-suffering characters at last.
