I love autumn too! But so much of its appeal is its arriving, the excitement when it comes again after what feels so long... I don't think I could enjoy autumn nearly as much if it were just always there.
And the dream is totally us playing with fun trope-y stuff straight out of the fairy tale itself – we did our research and read through a couple of the earliest existing versions of "Beauty and the Beast," one of which is extremely long and extremely convoluted and bizarre. :-)
