My favourite R/T read will always be the story of how they got together, and it never ceases to amaze - or intrigue - how every writer comes up with their own unique take on the facts as we know them (or think we do;)). I've been looking forward to this ever since you first said you were working on it. And 18 chapters - oh yay!
This is off to a cracking start. I like the use of the different POV; it's fun to see Tonks intrigued and wondering why, Remus being open and slightly surprised at it, and Sirius some way ahead of them both already. Straight away they seem to be discussing things that are important to them (Tonks admitting her attraction to the 'glamour' of being an Auror; the memory of James and the Sorting Hat), and it's almost a shame when Remus gets something of a wake up call when Tonks asks about her mother. LOL.
I like the way you end with the 'Nymphadora' moment as well. It's all very light and teasing, but the seeds of friendship are already there.
