Especially the bit at the end, where he's still got that characteristically Harry-ish awkwardness about physical affection, and then, he's so happy to talk about his work, because that's what they've always talked about, the two of them - mysteries! And action, and sleuthing! It's so great to think of them continuing that, but in a grown-up, not-so-horrible way, a way that does not involve Voldemort.
