And I'm glad you enjoyed this story. I can't even say quite where the idea came from – first I'd thought of Tonks coming to Remus with a whole plethora of different cultures' memorial practices she'd looked up, but I ended up settling on the one I knew best, which seemed simple and powerful enough.
