I redid the quiz, but this time blithely ignoring the instruction to avoid using "no opinion" or "I like both" too much – and I think the results came out better! (I'll post those in a moment, if I can make them fit in an additional comment to this post, because why not.) Yeah, doing it that way came out with more things tied for the same place, but it also came out more accurate to what I actually think! And fwiw, in the "ignoring the instructions" version, I did come out with my least favorite thing (A/B/O) in clear last place, and also Seemingly Unrequited Pining jumped up to first place – now that I'm thinking of it as synonymous with UST! (UST that then gets resolved, of course. Which probably is indeed my actual favorite thing in fic.)
Yes, this is so fun – thinking about these things, seeing other people think about these things, and talking about it... Also, I love any time when people in fandom have differing tastes, but discuss them respectfully. (Instead of getting into the "shipping wars" type stuff that fandom can sometimes descend into!) Us all just like...loving stuff, and also listening to what other people love. <3
