Ha ha, yay, I'm glad you're enjoying the story! Yes, it does get very dramatic here at the end. This was the bit where we had to work hardest to marry PoA with Beauty and the Beast, because there are actually some big differences - for one, the fairy tale Beast is hiding away in shame, and that just didn't seem like Sirius to us. For two, in the fairy tale, the Beast was cursed by a fairy, but in our story, we had to figure out who or what could take the place of the fairy - at one point we were even saying, well, the closest thing canonically to the-fairy-that-ruins-Sirius'-life is Barty Crouch! Which makes me think of Barty Crouch in a diaphanous gown with iridescent wings, always an amusing image. :)
