And oh, I'm very pleased to hear that you like the details and canon things. I was just thinking again recently about how, it's hard to remember at this point, but I *think* the idea of this story started out as being about "I wonder what the adult characters were off doing while the narrative was at Hogwarts with Harry" ponderings – and then the Remus/Tonks story took center stage because, well, Remus-obsessed over here! But at its heart there's still something of a "wouldn't it be fun to tell the story that was going on in the background of the books, with the "real" story of the books flipped around to be the background" thing going on in it.
