Aw, you always say such kind and supportive things. Thank you!

You know, the irony of it is that I'm kind of glad (only in this one sense!!) for the current situation? I was already desperately in need of a break, but if I'd graduated into a normal world I'd have felt enormous pressure to throw myself into the job search (a thing that fills me with anxiety even at the best of times) and be productive and successful and whatever else. As it is, I can kind of rest for a bit in my current situation: part-time job that I really like and that lets me scrape by, being nearby and available to help my parents, and not having to feel guilty about not looking for a job, because there aren't any. ;-) It's a very weird thing to say or even to think, but the pandemic is actually the *easiest* thing that's hit my family in the last few years. I am very very very fortunate, and I'm aware of it every day.

I hope you're doing okay, too!
